NEW YORK (AP) ? Victoria Justice recently dropped a soundtrack for her hit Nickelodeon series "Victorious," but she's also in the process of developing her own sound as a solo act.
"I want to write music that's going to appeal to everyone," Justice said in a recent interview. "As far as production, I don't think I've quite found my sound yet ... I want to work with producers who are unique and have a different sound."
Justice, 19, says she's unsure when she'll release her own material, but "Victorious 2.0" ? the show's second soundtrack ? debuted at No. 18 on the Billboard charts this month. Justice co-wrote some of the tracks, which also features her cast mates, and said making music for the show is helping her grow as an artist.
Currently in its third season, "Victorious" airs Saturdays. She said despite the show's young nature, the soundtrack is for all ages.
"It's just not kid's music. A lot of the lyrics are actually smart and sophisticated," she said.
The entertainer said her musical influences range from Britney Spears to Carole King. The teen only had six days off last year, and her schedule will get even busier when she launches her tour Aug. 2 in Costa Mesa, Calif. It wraps up Sept. 14 in Allegan, Mich.
"I want my sound to be different from the music that's been on 'Victorious,'" she said. "I want there to be a distinction between 'Victorious' songs and Victoria Justice songs."
Justice will expand her brand when she appears opposite Chelsea Handler and Johnny Knoxville in the film "Fun Size," the directorial debut by "Gossip Girl" and "The O.C." creator Josh Schwartz.
In the film, Justice's character hopes to attend New York University, but in real life she says she doesn't have plans to go to college.
"To be honest with you I'm so busy," she said. "I don't have any time to think about college right now. I feel like maybe down the road I might take online college courses in subjects I'm interested in like English and psychology."
The film is in theaters Oct. 12.

Touchdown! Chinese Space Capsule With 3 Astronauts Returns to Earth
Three Chinese astronauts returned to Earth Thursday (June 28) after 13 days in space on a historic mission that made their country only the third nation ever to successfully dock a manned spacecraft to another in orbit.
China's Shenzhou 9 space capsule landed at about10 p.m. EDT?(10 a.m. Friday, June 29 Beijing time) in Inner Mongolia, an autonomous region of the People's Republic of China. To prepare for their journey home, the space crew ? which included China's first female astronaut Liu Yang ? separated the Shenzhou 9 capsule its target, the Tiangong 1 prototype space module, on Wednesday (June 27).
Their landing was broadcast live on China's state-run CCTV television network, showing the capsule streaking through the atmosphere like a meteor, deploying its main parachute, then making the final landing and rolling over on its side in a rough touchdown.
"We fulfilled the first manned manual docking," mission commander Jing Haipeng told CCTV reporters after exiting the Shenzhou 9 capsule. His comments in Chinese were translated into English by CCTV. Jing and crewmates Liu Yang and Liu Wang appeared to be in good health after their space mission. The trio wore broad smiles and waved to cameras after leaving their spacecraft, but did sit in reclined chairs to help ease their adaptation back to Earth's gravity after nearly two weeks in weightlessness.
Shortly after the landing, China's Premier Wen Jiabao proclaimed the Shenzhou 9 mission a complete success.
"This manned docking mission of Tiangong 1 and Shenzhou 9 marks a large milestone, a major breakthrough for China to master the space docking technology," Wen said while reading a statement. "And also, it marks a decisive step forward on China's second step on its space strategy."

China's big space leap
China's Shenzhou 9 mission, which included successful displays of manual and automatic dockings, represented an important leap forward for China's space program. In addition to being China's longest space mission to date, it also tested technology vital for the country's goal of building space station in orbit by the year 2020.
"Chinese astronauts have their own home in space now," Jing told China's President Hu Jintao on Tuesday (June 26) during a special call according to the state-run Xinhua news agency. "We are proud of our country!" ?
And while the orbital linkups are important technological achievements for China, the mission also carried a wider social impact because it included the country's first female astronaut: the 33-year-old Liu Yang.
"It was like a home in Tiangong, and I feel very happy and proud of my country," Liu Yang told reporters after landing.
Jing, the commander, is China's first veteran astronaut to fly in space twice. The third crewmember, Liu Wang, served as the Shenzhou 9 docking pilot.
"It feels really good to feel the ground and to be back home," Liu Wang said.
The?Shenzhou 9 mission launched into orbit on June 16 and performed China's first manned space rendezvous, after the spacecraft robotically docked to Tiangong 1 on June 18. Several days later, on June 24, the astronauts backed away from the orbiting module and parked their Shenzhou 9 spacecraft once more, demonstrating manual control over the procedure as well.
"This work was done by all space pioneers and staff and we'll remember you. It will be written in history," Wen said.
China's space station goal
The successful linkups made China only the third country, after the United States and Russia, to accomplish manned dockings in orbit.

China is not a member nation of the $100 billion International Space Station in low-Earth orbit, a roughly 430-ton orbiting outpost that is jointly operated by more than a dozen countries.
But Chinese officials have outlined an ambitious space program for the nation, which includes collecting samples from the moon and robotically returning them to Earth before landing astronauts on the lunar surface.
The Shenzhou 9 mission is China's fourth manned spaceflight. Previous expeditions were launched in 2003, 2005 and 2008.
The Tiangong 1 test module was launched into orbit in September 2011. In November, a robotic spacecraft, called Shenzhou 8, completed the country's first unmanned space docking. According to Chinese officials, Tiangong 1 has performed well, and could play host to another crew in the near future.
"Based on current conditions, the service of Tiangong 1 can be extended," said He Yu, chief commander of the Shenzhou 9 spacecraft, reported Xinhua. "It has consumed less than one-fourth of its fuel and no back-up systems have been used."
Depending on its condition, the module could remain in orbit as China continues its space station construction efforts.
"If Tiangong 1 was in perfect shape, it could work side by side with Tiangong 2, which will be launched in the future," He said.

TORONTO (AP) ? Struggling BlackBerry maker Research In Motion Ltd. revealed Thursday that its business is crumbling faster than thought.
The Canadian company posted worse results for its latest quarter than analysts had expected. It's cutting 5,000 jobs and delaying the launch of its new phone operating system, BlackBerry 10, until after the holiday shopping season.
After several delays, the first phone with BlackBerry 10 was expected later this year. It will be delayed even longer, to the first quarter of next year, RIM CEO Thorsten Heins said.
The delay comes as North Americans are abandoning BlackBerrys for iPhones and Android phones. Analysts have long said the new BlackBerrys will come out too late to reverse RIM's fortunes. RIM was pinning its hope on the new BlackBerry 10 system, which is meant to offer the multimedia, Internet browsing and apps experience that customers now demand.
Now it will come out months after a new iPhone is expected to be released. Current and previous iPhones have made the BlackBerry look ancient.
The jobs cuts are part of a previously announced initiative to cut $1 billion in annual costs this year. They represent about 30 percent of RIM's workforce, which is currently at 16,500.
"It is necessary to change the scale and refocus the company," Heins said on a conference call with analysts.
"I fully understand the impact a workforce reduction of this size has on our employees and the communities in which we operate. I assure you that we wouldn't move forward with a change of this size if we didn't think it was critical for our future."
RIM shares plunged $1.38, or 15 percent, to $7.75 in extended trading, after the release of the results. If they hold that level into regular trading Friday, they will set a new nine-year low.
Heins acknowledged that he delivered "a lot of tough news."
"This was a challenging quarter for the company on many fronts," he said. "And I am not satisfied with the financial performance we are reporting today."
Heins had previously vowed to do everything he could to release BlackBerry 10 this year but he said Thursday that the timetable simply wasn't realistic. He said RIM's top priority remains a successful launch of the new BlackBerrys.
"I will not deliver a product to the market that is not ready to meet the needs of our customers," he said. "There will be no compromise on this issue."
He said the company will release fewer models than in the past. He also said RIM will launch a BlackBerry 10 model with a physical keyboard close to the launch of the touch-screen model. RIM earlier said it would come out with a touch-screen model first, but it didn't say when it would make one with a physical keyboard, a feature that many people stay with BlackBerrys for.
RIM previously said it hired a team of bankers to help it weigh its options as it loses market share and its business erodes. Heins said they continue to study those options, but he declined to share those options and said the board would have to approve any changes.
RIM lost $518 million, or 99 cents a share, in its fiscal first quarter, which ended June 2. This compares with a profit of $695 million, or $1.33 per share, a year ago.
Excluding impairment charges, the latest loss was 37 cents per share. Analysts polled by FactSet were expecting a loss of 3 cents.
Revenue fell 43 percent to $2.8 billion, well below analyst expectations at $3.1 billion.
RIM said it shipped just 7.8 million BlackBerry smartphones in the quarter, down 41 percent from 13.2 million a year earlier.
Heins said the company is expecting the next several quarters to be "very challenging." He said RIM is in the midst of a platform transition and faces an increasingly competitive environment. Research firm IDC says BlackBerrys U.S. market share has plummeted from 41.1 percent in 2007 to 3.6 percent in first three months of 2012.
Colin Gillis, an analyst with BGC Financial, said the results and news of a BlackBerry 10 delay is far worse than the horrible news he had already expected.
"When a technology gets old, it's not a slow fade. It's a sharp cliff," Gillis said.
"There is very little market for old technology."
Michael Walkley, an analyst with Canaccord, called the BlackBerry 10 delay dire and problematic in a rapidly changing technology sector.
"The biggest disappointment is the delay of the BlackBerry 10," he said. "It's extremely challenging for them to turn around the business when their new smartphone is launching that late."

The 2012 Global Real Estate Transparency Index, a proprietary Jones Lang LaSalle survey that calculates transparency in 97 real estate markets worldwide by weighting 83 different factors, provides investors and corporate occupiers with data and analysis critical to transacting, owning and operating in global markets. The Index also assists governments and other industry organizations interested in improving transparency.
Key Findings:
- The United States ranks as the world?s most transparent real estate market in 2012, followed closely by the United Kingdom and Australia. Also in the ?Highly Transparent? category: Netherlands, New Zealand, Canada, France, Finland, Sweden and Switzerland. The Index reaffirms the ascent of the MIST growth markets (Mexico, Indonesia, South Korea and Turkey), which all feature among the leading improvers. Turkey once again leads in transparency improvement.
- Environmental sustainability has emerged as an important transparency factor with the United Kingdom, Australia and France the most transparent markets in terms of real estate sustainability. The UK has a long history of building energy efficiency systems and introduced the world?s first Green Building rating system. Australia has been the test bed for new environmental laws, regulations and incentives. Dubai scores less well than other major? global cities in respect of the transparency of sustainability related issues.
- The 2012 Index highlights continued transparency deficiencies in many African, Middle Eastern and Latin American markets. Nations scoring the lowest on transparency, the so-called opaque markets, include Sudan, Nigeria, Ghana, Iraq, Pakistan and Algeria.
- While transparency has improved in 80% of the markets across MENA over the past two years, these gains have been relatively modest and real estate markets in MENA remain less transparent than other global regions.? Dubai remains the region?s most transparent market but achieves only a middle ranking in global terms (47 of 97 markets covered globally), while Lebanon has shown the greatest improvement over the past 2 years.
Commenting on the findings of the index for the Middle East & North Africa region, Craig Plumb, Head of Research for Jones Lang LaSalle MENA noted that:
?More needs to be done to increase the level of transparency of the market both in Dubai and across the broader region, particularly in respect of investment performance indicators and data on market fundamentals.?The lack of progress on these areas in recent years has contributed to the low level of investment activity and the oversupply that is currently being experienced in some sectors of the market.
We expect to see more improvement in transparency over the next few years as policy makers recognise this will attract greater demand from overseas investors and occupiers familiar with higher levels of transparency and market information.?The increased focus on sustainability is also likely to result in higher levels of transparency and disclosure.?
Transparency Drivers:
The report identifies four main forces that are expected to drive further progress in transparency through the next update in 2014:
- The growing recognition in many emerging economies, such as the Middle East and North Africa, that the current lack of performance indicators and accurate market information is hindering inward investment and hampering the development of competitive domestic real estate sectors.
- The ongoing credit and sovereign wealth crises, particularly in Europe, will motivate regulators, central banks, foreign investors and other real estate professionals towards better transparency, in the process offering more public data on real estate debt and monitoring lenders more closely.
- As recent corruption scandals come to light (often involving the permit process for commercial real estate development), governments will pay closer attention to the circumstances that engender under-the-table payments.
- The role of properties? sustainability characteristics will play an increasing role in leasing and investment decisions, growing from a marginal criterion to a critical decision-making input. Such concerns will force greater transparency of energy efficiency and Green Building benchmarking.
Middle East and Africa:
While some improvements have been recorded since 2010, the Middle East and Africa remains the ?least transparent of the 4 global regions covered in the Index. Areas where the MEA region scores particularly poorly include the lack of investment performances indices and the lack of available data on market fundamentals.

Real Estate Transparency 2012 ? Composite Index by Region
Within the MEA region, there is a wide variation in terms of transparency. South Africa is the most transparent market, sharing many of the same characteristics as the Anglophone markets such as the US, the UK and Australia which top the global list of most transparent markets. Dubai is the second most transparent market within MEA and the most transparent within the MENA region. Among the areas that Dubai scores most strongly are its regulatory framework, with RERA (the Real Estate Regulatory Authority) widely acknowledged to be the market leader within the region and the DIFC (Dubai International Financial centre) which is emerging as the vehicle of choice for listed real estate funds.
Lebanon has seen the greatest improvement in transparency within the MENA region over the past 2 years, although this market is currently experiencing some instability due to events in neighbouring Syria. The strong performance of the Beirut market has attracted greater interest from overseas investors and has led to a greater awareness and more market data becoming available. The creation of the Real Estate Association of Lebanon and stricter controls on lending by the Central Bank have also contributed to the improvement in transparency.
At the other extreme, eight of the eleven opaque markets globally are found in the MEA region.? While current levels of transparency remains poor in markets such as Sudan, Pakistan, Iraq and Algeria, there is increased interest from international corporate occupiers in these emerging markets and this is likely to result in an improvement in transparency levels over the next few years.
Real Estate Sustainability Transparency Index:
In recognition of the increasing relevance of environmental sustainability in real estate decisions, the 2012 Index includes a separate Real Estate Sustainability Transparency Index for a sub-set of 28 countries, covering issues such as energy efficiency benchmarking and green building rating systems. The United Kingdom, Australia and France have emerged as the most transparent markets in terms of real estate sustainability while Dubai is one of the lowest.
The 2012 results also reaffirm the relationship between real estate investment volumes and transparency. Rising levels of transparency are associated with higher levels of foreign direct real estate investment, a powerful incentive for encouraging the free flow of information as well as the fair and consistent application of local property laws. The world?s fastest-growing direct commercial real estate investment markets during the past two years ? such as Brazil, Turkey, Indonesia and Vietnam ? are all among the world?s top 10 transparency improvers.
About the Global Real Estate Transparency Index
The Global Real Estate Transparency Index, first published in 1999, is based on a combination of quantitative market data and information gathered through a survey of the global business network of Jones Lang LaSalle and LaSalle Investment Management. For each market a total of 83 separate factors have been assessed, through data collection and survey questions, answered by local research teams in collaboration with business leaders. These 83 factors are grouped into 13 topic areas and further grouped into five sub-index categories ? a) performance measurement, b) market fundamentals c) governance of listed vehicles d) regulatory and legal and e) transaction process. A Composite Index for each market is created from the weighted scores of the 83 factors. The scores range on a scale from 1.0 to 5.0. A country or market with a perfect 1.0 score has total real estate transparency; a country with a 5.0 score has total real estate opacity. Countries/markets are assigned to a one of five transparency levels ranging from Highly-Transparent, Transparent and Semi-Transparent to Low-Transparency and Opaque.
For investors, the Index provides a risk management tool by offering comparative information across multiple geographies, facilitating informed global/regional investment strategies and country target allocations. The Index enables corporate occupiers to more efficiently assess different real estate operating environments across the globe. Transparent markets allow for easier comparison of occupancy costs; provide more options for strategic action (e.g. the execution of sale and leasebacks); and raise the efficiency of transactions and facilities management.
In addition to the new sustainability sub-set, the 2012 index has been enhanced in three main areas. The 2012 edition:
- Incorporates more quantitative measures of real estate investment performance relating to directly owned real estate, public real estate securities and unlisted real estate funds.
- Deepens the coverage of real estate market fundamentals, by incorporating detailed empirically-derived measures of time-series data and database availability.
- Expands the Index into new markets in sub-Saharan Africa (i.e. Angola, Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Mauritius, Nigeria and Zambia) and Central America (i.e. the Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica and Puerto Rico), as well as Brazil?s Tier 2 cities, Iraq, Mongolia and Serbia. The Index now covers 97 markets, 16 more than in 2010.
The 2012 Global Real Estate Transparency Index is available to investors and occupiers in multiple platforms, including report, website, PowerPoint and webinar.

BEFORE getting in deep with this please stop and have a long hard look at whether or not this person is truly the one, if they are worth all of the problems and compromises that a long distance set up involves or are you simply going along with what they want and what suits them? If you have a lot of love and time to give to a partner and they have an extremely busy life where other things come first with them then perhaps it is better to finish it now before you end up feeling very side tracked and neglected.
Then remind yourself that when it is like this it is very difficult to truly get to know each other. People who see each other a lot can get to know each other totally and much quicker than people who meet up with each other. You will not find out their faults straight away, it may take a long time, you might want to idealise the whole idea of seeing them like this, as if it is a fairy tale, yet they are still just another human being and there are plenty of those out there that can give you a better commitment or more time. When you meet up for a few days now and then you can get caught up with the excitement of missing them and longing for them yet really it is still a stranger you are meeting up with. If your lover or partner is going to be very busy then please do not make the mistake of sitting on the sidelines waiting for them to fit you in. If they think they can decide to phone you sometime tomorrow then if you want to go out go out, do not hang around in case they ring or want to see you, do not be a doormat. Yes you have missed them and you long to see them but if they do not feel the same way it is too one sided and they are using you. Never ever give a total commitment to someone you have not seen a lot of and got to know properly and have not known for a long time.
If someone who works away wants you to get engaged and promise to be faithful to them till they return, maybe a soldier, unless you know for a fact you are both in love and they will really miss you and be faithful to you too say no, otherwise you will be doing all the worrying and waiting and they will be having all of the fun and if they know you are sitting around waiting they start to take you for granted and do not appreciate you anymore. They will work harder at being there for you and pleasing you if you are a person in your own right with a mind of your own and a life of your own.
